Surprise!!!!

My mom is such a trickster. We have all been saying "oh I wish Kelly could be home for Thanksgiving or Christmas" but we all knew she would be home in September for dads 60th (old man) However for the last month mom and Kelly have been planning for her to come home for Thanksgiving, what nuts. Nobody knew but the two of them, they wanted it to be a surprise and boy was it. All day Saturday while we were shopping mom would say oh I have to go to work tomorrow, she even had it on the calender as "work overtime", Val and I kept saying just call in sick. Mom was not going for that saying "oh no I cant do that we all have to take our turns". ok no big deal mom has to do OT. So she gets up and heads off to "work" even dad thought she was going to work, but really she goes to the air port to pick up Kelly. They do a little shopping in Ogden killing time so they can surprise Val Derrick and Ruger at church. However they shopped to long and missed them after church so mom calls derrick (val didn't have her phone) and he said they were at Wallies so mom heads to Wallies and Val Derrick and Ruger were just walking out as mom passed the door. Val said I think that was my mom and Kelly and Derick says no it wasn't. Well on closer inspection by Val she realizes it is mom and Kelly and does a dance in the Wallies parking lot and runs to see them. Then when they got home mom calls me (I too was just leaving Wallies) she says when you get home come on over I got something for you from work. i said mom you work at Autoliv what could you have gotten me from there? She says just come out. i hesitated and finally listed to mother like I should and said ok I'll get the groceries put away and come over.....I know this is a long story just keep reading..... So I put the stuff away explain to Chad that mom has a surprise and I need to go get it. so I get to moms and the door is locked I knocked and look in the driveway to count cars, yep all here why is the door locked? and to my surprise Kelly opens the door. I was dumbfounded I screamed and cried and latched on to her in disbelief yelling What are you doing here.......What a great surprise. she will be here till the first, and we are all so thankful to have her here.
We sure will miss Rosie Roo though, she was not able to come due to work...We love you Rosie wish you were here too.

Girls Day Out!!

Saturday Mom, Val and I went shopping. There was a craft fair in Ogden we wanted to go to, so we meet at Val's house and got in her car. (she drove cuz moms scares us sometimes. Love you mommy)From there we went to the craft fair and I got a few things to make for Christmas.
Us at the craft fair

From there we went to eat at Frazolies.

Then since none of us had ever been to Tai Pan Trading we decided to go see what it was all about.
I must say none of us were very impressed with that store. Yes they have some really pretty stuff and it is huge and beautifully decorated, But I didn't think the prices were all that great, and they didn't have anything I couldn't get at Hobby Lobby or Michael's. I did however make a 3 dollar purchase, not sure what I will do with it though.

sorry Tai Pan I don't think I'll be back.

After Tai pan we went to Mervyns to see if they had any great deals and again disappointment nothing that great. Mom did buy Val and I some boots though and they are way cute, see look.
So then we went to the Quilted Bear and saw a lot of the same stuff we saw at the craft fair only cheaper, go figure. Ok by now we are tired and ready to go home we went back to Val's and got moms car and headed home. We had a great time and were so grateful to be able to

spend the day together. Thanks mom for another great day.

Behind again

My sister pointed out to me that I have not posted since the 17th so I thought I would do a fast catch up.

We had a nice diner with Hayden and her family
Kylee had the flu last week and I thought letting her cuddle with the kitties would help her feel better, and it actually did

The girls room was trashed and was in much need of a good cleaning. They simply have to much stuff so we had a cleaning day. Kylees bed was actually broke so we took it out and i put my old one in there. It is the bed I got when I was 13.
She was so happy to have it in her room again, and she gets up every morning and makes it before she goes to school. I'm so proud of them they have done a great job keeping their room clean. Thank you girls for working hard, I love you very much.

Saturday was a rather fun day . Some of the shops in town were having their Christmas boutiques and I wanted to take the girls and have a look around, and maybe get some ideas on things to make for Christmas. On the way to town I called mom to see if she wanted to go and my sister answered the phone ( I didn't know she was coming up we had just spent last Saturday together) I asked what she was doing, and she said her family had just been out hunting my nephew was invited to participate in a special youth pheasant hunt in snowville or Howell I cant remember where. Anyway the decided to stop at moms on their way home and they were all on their way to J.C.'s for lunch so the girls and I decided we would go to.
This is my crazy brother-in-law.

Thee pics arnt so good cuz I took them with my phone.

Somehow I didn't get a pic of Val this time round so next time I'll make up for it.

So after lunch we went back to moms. She had been cleaning out her closest and spare room so Valorie and I went shopping through moms stuff. I got a few shirts and Val got a way cute jacket(watch your closet Val I'm out to get that one) and shoes we also both got a lot of craft stuff Val likes to paint so she took all the paint mom had (she had A-LOT). After we shopped a wile at moms Val and her fam went home and me mom and the girls went to town, we say a bunch of cute things and mom bought a few things. I took some pics of the things we decided we want to make meaning we have to now go buy all new paints, how funny.

I love these ladders and have always wanted one so I guess we will make our own. You in Val? And Kylee saw these little blocks she loved, brown and pink and say lead me guide me walk beside me.

After shopping I took mom home and headed to Danas (the local Girl Scout leader) so we could sign the girls up for another year (1st year for Tay) Then finally we came home and lounged around the rest of the night.

What an action packed Saturday!! Just the way I like them!!

What will she come up with next?!!!

OK so I was just doing some changes on my blog and Kylee comes and puts her foot on the desk. It took me a minute to figure out what she was doing, because she didn't say a word. I looked at her like what are you doing and she just motioned her hand (like Vanna White) to her foot. and I just started laughing.

She has taken the blue glitter silly putty and molded it to her toenails. Right now she is doing Tay's in a lovely bright yellow. That girl makes me laugh.

Im so EXCITED!!!!!

November is a great month, fall leaves, beautiful colors, cool air, GREAT food, and SHOPPING DAY!!!! I can not wait until Black Friday, that has got to be my favorite day of the year. My favorite holiday? Yes it sure is.........OK no its not my fav my fav would be Christmas, but I LOVE SHOPPING DAY. It has been tradition for years for my mom, sister, and I along with some friends now and then, to get up before the roosters and drive to the town of our choice and shop with all the other crazy women who get up at 3AM. Some say I am crazy, but I have got to say it is probably the funnest day of the year for me.

Trick Or Treat

I am glad Halloween is over. I think November and December are two of my favorite months except for the cold part. If it could be 75 degrees I would be one happy happy lady.

The girls of course did have a great time getting dressed up. Taylor was a nice witch, and Kylee was a football player. They looked so cute. The pictures above are of the girls at the school costume parade.
