Fielding School had their annual pumpkin walk Wednesday and Thursday night. It turned out real nice, it wasn't as cold as it was in years past, and having it for two nights rather that one helped cut back on the crowding. I'm not sure what Taylor's class theme was but they all had hands and feet like Taylor's. Kylee's class theme was spooky so she chose the skull and crossbones ( that wasn't easy). The girls and I went on Wednesday and then Thursday we went back with Chad and Kelton. It was real fun to go see what all the kids had come up with.

You would think that being a stay at home mom I would have lots of time to keep up on a blog or two, but i guess I don't. With the girls out of school for UEA I seem to have a minute to get caught up. We have done a few things in the last month that were pretty fun so here it is the short fast version. Enjoy.

On our way home from my nephews birthday party in Ogden my mom wanted to stop off in Perry and get some apples. That gave me an idea and a craving for Carmel apples so when we got home we made some. They were good but I guess I was so excited to get them done I forgot to butter the wax paper and they just stuck to it so we had to eat around the paper.....YUMMY!

Chad and I cleaned our room and rearranged furniture last weekend, and the girls found the dominoes. (amazing what you can find when you clean up a little) They played a game for a while then decided to make a tower. Aren't they cute

We went to the D.I. to get some picture frames the other day and of course the girls had to get something. Kylee got an outfit and Taylor got a toy horse she carried it around for two days showing everyone over and over "look at my new horse". She even asked me to take pictures of her and her horse. Can anyone guess where the horse is now? The horse has been forgotten and put in a toy box some place probably to never be played with again. All I can say is the D.I. is a great place to by 25 cent toys if that is what they are going to do with them.

Last weekend we had our first snow storm of the season. ( I would say year but I think it snowed in January) Anyway the girls had to go play in it so out came the winter couts and gloves and out went Kylee and Taylor. It didn't last long though they got cold and they didn't have much snow to play in so they came back in and play with dominoes.
Taylor got invited to her first Halloween party. As you can see it was a costume party, and she wanted to drees up as a witch. She sure makes a cute one. Chad asked her if she was a mean witch or a nice witch and she said "I am a nice witch daddy." She had a great time at the party.

Those of you who know me well know I love to take pictures of my girls.
We went out a few days ago and had some fun taking pictures at the park
and at the Garland Tabernacle (beautiful building) I think they turned out real cute.

Kylee Loves to pose for the camera

And Taylor is learning from her sister how it is done.

These are just a few but I think they turned out good.

Im sure I will post more soon I want to find a good place in the canyon.

We have a lot of fun doing this.

Cowboy Day

Last week at school the girls had a special Cowboy Day. It was a day filled with all kinds of activities like ; goat tie, roping, barrel races, pole bending, sheep hearding, and Miss Rodeo Utah and Miss High School Rodeo came to visit. They had a lot of fun. I wanted to split my time between Kylee and Taylor, but when I got there to help Taylors teacher grabed me and asked if I could help her with the kindergarten classes while she did other activities this leaving me with 39 five and six year olds to watch after. That was crazy fun. I did get a chance to sneek off towards the end of the day when the teacher came back to go spend some time with Kylee, and that was fun. They enjoed the day for the most part but Taylor freaked out when it was her turn to pull the ribbon off of the goats tail she was fine to run up to it but when it turned and looked at her shse screamed.

Kylee got glasses

So as I said before Kylee needed glasses. We went to the eye doc to pick out her frame,. I was so proud because I had told her how the insurance worked and what price we could go up to to have the insurance cover all of it leaving us with a small co-pay. She tried on a few and seemed to like most anything, so I said OK select four and we will narrow it down from there. She looked through the four she had selected and and put back the most expensive, which by-the-way were in our price range. Any who she picked a real cute pair of light purple frames, they are so cute.
