You would think that being a stay at home mom I would have lots of time to keep up on a blog or two, but i guess I don't. With the girls out of school for UEA I seem to have a minute to get caught up. We have done a few things in the last month that were pretty fun so here it is the short fast version. Enjoy.
On our way home from my nephews birthday party in Ogden my mom wanted to stop off in Perry and get some apples. That gave me an idea and a craving for Carmel apples so when we got home we made some. They were good but I guess I was so excited to get them done I forgot to butter the wax paper and they just stuck to it so we had to eat around the paper.....YUMMY!
Chad and I cleaned our room and rearranged furniture last weekend, and the girls found the dominoes. (amazing what you can find when you clean up a little) They played a game for a while then decided to make a tower. Aren't they cute
We went to the D.I. to get some picture frames the other day and of course the girls had to get something. Kylee got an outfit and Taylor got a toy horse she carried it around for two days showing everyone over and over "look at my new horse". She even asked me to take pictures of her and her horse. Can anyone guess where the horse is now? The horse has been forgotten and put in a toy box some place probably to never be played with again. All I can say is the D.I. is a great place to by 25 cent toys if that is what they are going to do with them.
Last weekend we had our first snow storm of the season. ( I would say year but I think it snowed in January) Anyway the girls had to go play in it so out came the winter couts and gloves and out went Kylee and Taylor. It didn't last long though they got cold and they didn't have much snow to play in so they came back in and play with dominoes.
Taylor got invited to her first Halloween party. As you can see it was a costume party, and she wanted to drees up as a witch. She sure makes a cute one. Chad asked her if she was a mean witch or a nice witch and she said "I am a nice witch daddy." She had a great time at the party.
